Your Kitchen Table Serves Volunteers in Cobb Community

This past weekend we had the honor of serving a group of ladies who were volunteering their time at the NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity house in Cobb. These women were working hard to help build a home that is a part of the National Women Build Week 2018, sponsored by Lowe’s.

In the 31 years since its founding, NW Metro Atlanta Habitat for Humanity has helped to accomplish this goal by building 480 homes in its service area — Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties — and by supporting the building of over 350 homes in Uganda, their international tithing partner.

NW Metro Atlanta Habitat is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. NW Metro Atlanta Habitat is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing and rehabilitating homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

We are lucky to have volunteers like these ladies in our community.
